Mandiant is seeking curious and motivated individuals to join a Special Programs team who focus on bespoke client solutions. Special Programs contains Subject Matter Experts across various disciplines: Digital Forensics, Vulnerability Research, Reverse Engineering, and SW/HW Engineering. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular operation and maintenance on multiple large-scale training environments
- Develop scripts, tools or methodologies to support a large scale development, training, and advanced red team ecosystem
- Automate functions that are repeatable while leveraging industry best-practices
- Experience building and testing reference architectures based team requirements
- Administer Unix and Windows Environments
- Administer virtualized environments based in VMWare, Proxmox, and other KVM-based environments.
- Unix shell scripting, Python, and Windows PowerShell Experience.
- Network and storage infrastructure design and maintenance experience.
- Expertise consulting with stakeholders to define needs, develop requirements and analyze findings to advise and recommend technical solutions
- Develop supporting reports and presentations for both technical and executive audiences
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in related discipline or Equivalent Experience (4+ Years)
- Strong Practical Knowledge of Common Hosting Architectures
- Expertise in Microsoft Windows and Linux operating environment
- Familiarity with automation technologies such as Ansible or Terraform
- Familiarity in common scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc)
- Familiarity with computer hardware components
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance
Additional Qualifications:
- Strong ability to independently prioritize and execute project tasks in a methodical and disciplined manner. Set and manage expectations with senior stake-holders and team members.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills. This role requires an ability to understand and articulate both the practical benefits (value proposition) and technical advantages of proposed solutions.
- Familiarity with various cyber security tools and methodologies, common malware families, and Anti-Virus / IDS / IPS evasion techniques
