We are looking for a Cloud Optimization Engineer who will work on exciting projects related to the following: monitoring, recommendations, and advice to help maintain cost efficient use of AWS, automate data collection and build dashboards for Engineers and Senior Leaders. The Cost Optimization Engineer will also be our subject matter expert and will generate and provide recommendations on how customers and Auth0 can optimize our AWS usage.

Provide monitoring, recommendations, and advice to help maintain cost efficient use of AWS
Automate data collection and build dashboards for Engineers and Senior Leaders
Generate and provide recommendations on how customers and Auth0 can optimize their AWS usage
Recommend and develop a reserved instance and spot instance purchasing process
Leverage resource tagging to allocate costs and optimize resource planning
Assist in preparing cost analysis based on actual and expected usage
Drive towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems
Understand and communicate billing and forecasting best practice
Act as SME for demand inquiries on our Cloud Platform
Requirements:
Experience with public cloud billing (AWS)
Software development or scripting experience
Strong business sense and be technical and analytical
Experienced at working with large data sets
Attention to detail and drive to make improvements
