The ‘EMEA Professional Services - Security Practice’ is looking for a Partner Security Consultant (a.k.a. Security Growth Partner), based in the UK, to help drive EMEA security sales opportunities, via existing security partners as well as new ones.

This role is particularly well-suited to a self-starting, experienced and highly motivated individual, who has a proven track record in channel sales (partner sales) within the security domain.

You will be responsible for understanding security partners current solutions (and / or services), as well as their future solutions (and / or services), and then liaising downstream, with relevant EMEA Security staff, to ensure these are appropriately tested and can be delivered from a capability and capacity perspective.

You will be required to liaise closely with the EMEA Security team including Solution Architects, Security Architects and Security Engineers etc. to ensure sales opportunities are successfully closed.

You will drive regular cadence with existing security partners and ensure that Rackspace key stakeholders are not only aware of current security partners capabilities but also future capabilities, via ongoing training and awareness.

You will support the onboarding of new security partners. You may be asked to support the creation, or improvement, of relevant marketing collateral.

Key Accountabilities
  • Liaise with existing security partners to drive sales opportunities.
  • Onboard and liaise with new security partners to drive sales opportunities.
  • Understand next generation security partner solutions (and / or services) and as part of a go-to-market approach a) assess Rackspace customers’ appetite for the new solution, b) ensure the new solution is adequately assessed / tested, c) marketing collateral is appropriately defined, d) relevant internal stakeholders are trained and e) EMEA Security has capacity and capability to deliver.
  • Drive regular cadence with security partners and act as a point person for EMEA Security.
  • Liaise closely with members of EMEA Security to ensure effective delivery of closed won sales opportunities (i.e. adequate resources with required skills in line with demand).
  • Interface with Security Solution Architects who in turn interface with customers to pitch security solutions and / or services.
  • Drive regular training and awareness to Rackspace internal stakeholders.

  • Skills & Experience
  • Experience of Channel Sales within the security domain, including increasing opportunities and driving bookings and revenue.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (with both security partners and internal stakeholders).
  • Technical understanding of security solutions and / or services.
  • Experience of partner onboarding and growing partner relationships.
  • Experience of producing marketing material.
  • A highly self-motivated and proactive individual who wants to learn and grow and has an attention to detail.
  • Highly organised and detail oriented. Ability to prioritise, multitask and work under pressure.
  • An individual who shows a willingness to go above and beyond in delighting the customer.
