Listing Description
During your day as a Cloud Security Engineer you will:
- Work on a cross-functional, feature-driven team;
- Define, document, enforce and maintain security policies and best practices for the software engineering teams for both development and production environments.
- Work alongside with developers, testers and SREs to assure security compliance.
- Help coordinating operations that involve sensitive data handling and retention.
- Assuring that that the software developed at e-core is reliable and safe for production environments.
For this position as a Cloud Security Engineer, you:
- Must have 5+ years of experience working with security with at least 2+ from those years working with security on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP or Azure.
- Must have experience with sensitive data management, including compliance with PII data retention regulations like LGPD and/or GDPR.
- Must have understanding of networking on cloud platforms, including: VPCs, Load Balancers, Reverse Proxies, Routers and Firewall.
- Must have experience managing ACLs, roles, accounts, keys, etc. using built-in solutions like IAM, Secret Managers, etc.
- Must have experience with hardening of container and virtual machine images.
- Must have experience with logging, monitoring and alerting for development and production environments.
- May have experience with GCP IAM and Security stacks.
- May have experience with the Atlassian tooling (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.).
- May have understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline tools, like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Previous experience with SAML and SSO is a big plus.
- Are creative and innovative in finding solutions to complex problems and issues;
- Are a self-starter and motivate others with enthusiasm and collaboration;
- Must have advanced English skills.
