As a BISO, You will have an opportunity to lead the enhancement and implementation of information security, data processing and data privacy policies and standards across the business. This position will collaborate with business leadership to understand cybersecurity compliance and risk management needs and will work with the CISO team to develop solutions to meet the needs of the business. This role will also be responsible for ensuring that technical products, platforms, programs, and solutions are followed within the organization through conducting a gap analysis.
Role
● This role being an individual contributor, You will be working with other members of CISO team in driving the operational requirements and on bridging the relationships between the cyber teams and the broader organization and helping to ensure that risk is managed effectively by building cyber security into all that we do.
● The is a group level role and You’ll be ensuring cyber business partners respond to business needs providing proactive and agile partnering support, reaching deep in the organization. Aligning to the core-cyber team, influencing the design of cyber delivery and services, and embedding it into the business.
● Sharing what we know, guiding the business with our knowledge of the technology landscape and cyber security. You’ll be a problem solver able to deliver and execute complexity. Providing counsel, informing every area of business, in every country, to make safe business decisions. Feeding what we learn to cyber operations, influencing both ways.
● It’s not just technology, it’s every part of the business, the BISO team is critical in keeping the whole business alert and safe today and when they want to move forward, with early engagement and continuous improvement. Involved in concept and design.
● The point of contact for External and client audits and should coordinate with the internal teams to gather the required documents and evidence for the audits.
● We have a seat at the table, building strong reputation and trust in all areas of the business, educating, upskill and helping business owners think about cyber risk.
● Conducting security awareness presentations to the business
● Create & Provide feedback on standards which include but are not limited to policy, business resilience, encryption, and privileged access management
We are looking for someone who:
● Is open minded, organized and able to collaborate and communicate with all levels
● Can work with limited supervision and confident when translating complex/technical topics into business language
● Is motivated and willing to learn
● Can manage projects and has the ability to conduct sophisticated analysis and present data in a meaningful way.
● Brings a Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience
● Understanding of security frameworks including ISO27001/NIST/SANs.
● Holds a CISA, CISM, CISSP or equivalent
