ROLE OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Information Security, this role partners and works with internal and external developers, engineers, and IT departments focusing on customer satisfaction, efficient and effective security technology solutions, and partnering with clinical and business stakeholders in support of the companies’ mission, vision, and values.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Direct responsibility working with internal product and development teams to ensure security considerations span the entire Software Development Life Cycle. (SDLC)
· Collaborate with developers and team members to integrate security into the SDLC processes while identifying security gaps.
· Ensure security best practices and procedures are maintained and carried out by all developers through system design input and code reviews.
· Perform investigative research, analysis, and troubleshooting to identify, resolve, and report highly complex security issues.
· Assist in developing manual or automated security testing to validate the use of secure coding best practices.
· Assist in managing the Web Application Firewall configuration.
· Own and perform application security vulnerability management.
· Participate in and support application security reviews, threat modeling and code reviews, and dynamic testing.
· Identify trends, analyze data, and transform the information into plans, deliverables, and recommendations.
· Work with managed service providers to drive efficiencies and ensure execution on the scope of deliverables.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields
· 5+ years of Information Security experience with responsibilities supporting a multi-site organizational structure.
· Hands-on experience managing AWS, Azure Cloud, and creating Custom Web Application Firewall Rules
· Ability to work with managed service providers supporting secure cloud platforms such as O365 and Azure
· Establishing and implementing protocols and procedures for Penetration Testing methodologies.
· Experienced with Static Application Security Testing/Dynamic Application Security Testing. (SAST/DAST)
· Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
· Critical thinker with strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
