The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8+ years of cybersecurity management experience within security, compliance, and technology. As a Cybersecurity Advisor, you will be security and compliance focused with emphasis on prioritizing and building cybersecurity programs for customers. The proven ability to effectively execute and manage large complex programmatic engagements with key client organizations while capturing security, compliance, and operational needs to produce well-designed strategic solutions is a must. Experience in delivering written in depth and ad-hoc reports, policies and procedures documents, and creating system security plans and programs is required.

Aside from technical skills, prospective candidates should have excellent communications, teamwork, leadership, and conflict management skills. Due to the nature of information systems and cyberattacks, you must be committed to continuous learning and system development in constantly changing environments.  A Cybersecurity Advisor must be self-disciplined and able to work on projects sometimes without clearly defined requirements while always providing added value to a customer. A Cybersecurity Advisor is expected to effectively communicate with technical personnel as well as, translate information security requirements into business terms for non-technical personnel. Effective development and presentation of strategic business information and initiatives to C-Suite personnel is essential. 

Required Qualifications:
  • CISSP certification required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and/or 8+ years in the industry
  • Analyze and develop cybersecurity strategies and solutions
  • Manage complex and comprehensive enterprise level cybersecurity strategies
  • Experience with integrating risk, governance, and compliance while working with competing priorities
  • Understanding of network security products including but not limited to SIEM and EDR/MDR solutions
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, PCI and NIST standards
  • Working knowledge of privacy requirements
  • The ability to multi-task multiple projects with short completion times
  • This position requires research, preparation, and participation in presentations and customer briefings, as well as occasional travel to customer locations

  • Desired Qualifications:
  • CCSP, CISM, CCISO and other recognized certifications
  • Ability to execute on implementation and integration tasks
  • Strong, creative problem solving and analytical thinker
  • Capacity to recommend system and network solutions

  • Proficient teaming skills with all personnel levels of a business
