Listing Description

Rhombus is a NASA Research Park startup and partner working in the security and energy industries to bring big-data insights to enterprise-level planning and decision-making. As a Cyber Information Assurance Analyst, you will work as a member of our Technical Security & Development Team and serve as the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in the Washington D.C. area.

This role will serve as primary support for Classified Information Systems, administering the Information Assurance (IA) duties as the ISSO. The ISSO will plan and coordinate with the Systems Administrators/Developers to ensure the Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements are implemented, functional and maintained to date according to System Security Plans.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading the ATO process to deploy SAAS systems on the cloud in classified environments like JWICS and SIPRnet and experience with supporting the following documents and frameworks: ICD 503/RMF, CNSSI No. 7003 and NIST RMF publications. The candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic program schedule environment with minimal supervision.Risk Management Framework (RMF), document certification and accreditation activities, create, update System Security Plans and other artifacts in accordance with company and government standards.

Coordinate with the System Administrator and other personnel to address, resolve and closeout items established in the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POAM)s.

Experience in maintaining physical and environmental protection, personnel security and incident handling.

Maintain the configuration management process as prescribed by the ISO.

Experience in the use of Microsoft Operating Systems, Windows 7, 10 and server 2008r2, 2012r2 and 2016.

Experience in the use of Linux Operating System RHEL 7X.

Possess DoD 8570 certification IAM Level II, CISM, CAP or GSLC.

Experience in conducting technical and nontechnical security audits and experience in the usage of SIEM tools and processes.

Receive notifications of incidents and events, assess, and drive root cause analysis (RCA) and remediation plans appropriately.

Coordinate with Systems Administrators to maintain the security vulnerability management program as prescribed by the ISO.

Availability to work extended hours to support contractual requirements to meet customer needs. Accomplish other duties as assigned.

Represent Rhombus in engagements with external entities and the U.S. Government.

Qualifications:

BS Degree in Information Technology or related field with 2 years of directly related experience or 5 years of experience in an Information Assurance (IA) Role.

Basic qualifications for Cyber Info Assurance Analyst ISSO 3 are BS Degree in Information Technology or related field with 5 years of directly related experience or 7 years’ experience in an Information Assurance Role.

US citizen and active TS/SCI Security Clearance with Polygraph (most recent Tier 5 investigation within the last 4 years).

Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as can interface effectively with employees and customers of all levels.

Ability to travel to customer locations upon request.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of current Government Industrial Security guidelines to include:

JSIG, ICD 503 and DoD 5205.07 - COMSEC related experience.

XACTA 360 current Account, preferred

Cloud Environments experience, a plus
