The Agentsync Security Team is seeking an experienced IT Security leader who will lead the Cloud Security function. Cloud Security is a critical component in the management of our cloud environments, corporate applications, user access and authentication, and the security of our internal data. As a leader in the Cloud Security team, you will strategically influence how we secure our environments and services and provide guidance and requirements for how to do so. The successful candidate will be able to balance constantly evolving tactical needs with the ability to help drive critical initiatives with our internal business partners.

This role will require creativity as you work alongside other technical teams and staff to develop controls related to access, monitoring, and security across the organization. This role is for you if you like building programs, identifying creative solutions that will work for the business, and if you love being a part of an energetic and positive community.

You will have the opportunity to grow along with this startup taking on a leadership role with a direct impact on our success.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide Infrastructure Security assessments and requirements for Cloud Environments and Corporate systems (e.g., user services, endpoints, applications, data, services, and networks)

  • Conduct security assessments (design reviews, configuration reviews, penetration testing and vulnerability scanning) of systems and infrastructure in our ongoing efforts to reduce risk for the organization

  • Partner with other IT, Compliance, Product, and Engineering teams to drive the design of controls, remediation of deficiencies, and ensure regulatory and audit compliance for our technical environments, products, and systems

  • Advocate for security policies and processes and support security enablement with internal partners while maintaining a balance of security and usability

  • Drive critical initiatives in support of risk reduction and maintain security standards and guidelines

  • Engage with internal business and technology teams for security design consulting, reviews, and testing. Identify vulnerabilities and propose both tactical and strategic improvements

  • Build, train, and mentor a team

  • Lead critical security projects and initiatives from inception, through execution, and to completion

Your experience:

  • 6+ years of experience securing IT and Cloud systems and data

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in a technical management role

  • Previous experience with infrastructure security; user endpoint security, malware & AV protections, DLP, SaaS and online data storage, phishing prevention, remote connectivity, network security, CASB, SSO, among others

  • Previous experience in security assurance practices (threat modeling, design reviews, and penetration testing)

  • Strong cross-functional leadership and team-building skills

  • Experience engaging other technical teams, IT Support teams, and corporate customers regarding security of corporate systems

  • Ability to prioritize and drive multiple work streams forward simultaneously

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every requirement listed here. We know that every person has unique strengths, and we focus on hiring for those strengths, rather than looking for someone who meets every bullet point listed.
