The IT Security Administrator at Hala is an integral member of the Information Security Team, reports directly to the CISO, and interfaces with all company business units. The primary responsibility of the IT Security Administrator is to implement and manage a wide range of technical security mechanisms and processes designed to harden the enterprise against threats, reduce risk, and support response and resilience efforts. The IT Security Administrator plays a critical role in executing the security strategy.

This position is located in the US, with a salary range of 98,000$ - 108,000$. Applications will be accepted until September 20th.

We’ll trust you to:
  • Implement security policy through the creation of procedures and protocols.
  • Install, operate, and manage the native security features of Company operating systems and software, as well as the capabilities of third-party security resources.
  • Monitor and respond to threats and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure adherence to security policy.
  • Assist colleagues, partners, and clients with their technical security problems.
  • Support security training activities.
  • Assist in asset management, audit, and related activities.
  • Provide security recommendations to engineering and other teams.

  • We’d love to see:
  • 5 years relevant experience as System Administrator
  • 0-3 years relevant experience in Security
  • Experience working with AWS Services.
  • Knowledge of information security principles.
  • Experience implementing information security policy through technical means (either native capabilities of the components of the tech stack or third-party tools)
  • Working knowledge of other security disciplines, particularly physical security and personnel security.
  • Knowledge of the following technologies, applications, languages, or services: 
  • Windows OS, MacOS, Linux, Asana, Google Suite, GitHub, Slack, Python
  • Record of displaying ingenuity in the accomplishment of goals in work environments that may be resource-constrained or that expose personnel to adverse physical conditions.
  • Experience working cross-culturally, cross-functionally, and collaboratively with remote and distributed teams.
  • Experience explaining technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
  • Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
