ABOUT THE TEAM

The Security Operations team, as part of the Information Security department, protects Trade Republic’s most valuable asset efficiently against threats, frauds, and legal penalties. We enable Trade Republic to grow, compete and establish a trusted relationship with our customers. We strive for innovation while protecting and stabilising technologies, processes, structures and our data.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Incident Response: Investigate, contain and remediate security incidents and ensure all security events are investigated and documented to completion


• Vulnerability Management: respond and ensure findings are remediated in a timely fashion 


• Lead Threat Hunting activities on infrastructure and endpoints


• Build, integrate and maintain threat intelligence and log enrichment solutions


• Develop and increase SIEM functionality and SIEM automation 


• Be a trusted partner and advisor to internal and external teams in order to reduce security risks and create relevant documentation and metrics for them


• Analyse, document, and offer improvements against use cases and playbooks


• Build automated response playbooks to address incidents and security events


• Work with external security consulting firms and security vendors


• Lead projects to enhance Trade Republic’s security capabilities


• Participate in an on-call rotation 

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

• Experience and knowledge of tools and processes of handling IT security incidents


• Technical knowledge of handling cloud security tools across multiple domains


• Experience in maintaining SIEM solutions such as Datadog, Splunk, ELK, etc.


• Ability to monitor and investigate incidents


• Strong knowledge of cloud security and AWS security services is a plus


• Pronounced conceptual and process-oriented way of working 


• Very good presentation and communication skills


• Knowledge of and past exposure to NIST or ISO 27001/27002 framework


• Proficiency with scripting and automation (Bash, and Python,Golang) is a plus


• Knowledge of regulation such as MaRisk, BAIT and GDPR is a plus


• Certifications like CISSP, GCIH, ECIH, IHRP, CSIH, CIHE are a plus
