TransUnion Consumer Interactive creates web-based financial products that help consumers manage their credit, identity, and money. Our product suite includes TransUnion Credit Monitoring, TrueIdentity, TransUnion Plus, and Zendough—products that help our customers monitor critical changes in their credit by assisting them with debt analysis, identity theft protection features, and money management tools. Our team maintains an entrepreneurial environment, with continued year-to-year growth and a history of successful product launches. We stay nimble and innovative by paying close attention to how our customers interact with our products; this is reflected in our recent successful product launches.
This role works in a matrix structure that is on site in San Luis Obispo with a strong tie to our corporate team out of Chicago. There are two people that own the audit and compliance processes out of San Luis Obispo and they specifically support a key business unit that concentrates on our credit monitoring and ID theft protection that helps consumers make informed decisions about their finances.Provide leadership and subject matter/TUCI expertise during our periodic PCI, SOX, and SSAE16 audits, as well as various partner and internal compliance audits
Collaborate with our infrastructure engineering team to identify threats and vulnerabilities and identify and design appropriate controls
Work with corporate information security teams to develop and deliver plans in support of overall strategies and objectives
Assist in security investigations and work with IT in response to security related technology issues
Maintain in-depth knowledge of security best practices and remain current on the latest security regulations, advisories, alerts, and vulnerabilities
Execute and support various policy-driven assurance processes
7+ years of experience in Information Security
Experience with industry frameworks and standards including SSAE16 and PCI
Experience with assessing security processes, controls, and technologies
Experience performing system audits and security assessments and in interfacing with external auditors
Experience in operating in a matrix reporting structure, and with stakeholders that include business and technology leads as well as internal audit and compliance functions
Degree in Computer Science, related field, or comparable years of experience
Prior consulting experience a plus
Strong communication skills to communicate with technology, business, and partner teams
Prior experience leading small teams, either on a project or line-management basis
Strong teamwork/interpersonal skills
