Nisos is looking for a self-starting mid-level analyst to work a challenging but rewarding problem-set involving open source research on the surface and dark web, geo-political regional issues, and working with external vendors in a high-speed team environment. The position is in Crystal City, Virginia, and will involve about 10-20% travel in the US. Work is generally 40 hours a week, with occasional overtime depending on task deadlines. The position will report directly to a team lead/senior analyst.- Research and analysis of complex information from a variety of sources.

- Development of well-written, accurate, concise, and objective analytical products for a variety of stakeholders.

- Partner with other members of Security and Business functions to identify, assess, and react to emerging issues.

- Liaise with external vendors, analysts, and organizations to enable the appropriate sharing of relevant information and trends.

- Work with a geographically dispersed and highly varied stakeholder base.

- 5 years of intelligence analysis experience either in the USG or corporate

- Desired Skill: Experience using OSINT databases and search tools

- Desired Skill: Collection management and analysis or exploitation of publicly available information

- Desired Skill: Knowledge of the deep and dark web, social media and social networking sites, and OSINT research and operational security best practices

- Desired Skill: Extensive experience writing finished analytical products incorporating text and graphics to convey complex concepts

- Desired Skill: Knowledge and experience with application of metadata
