The Security Engineer is responsible for ensuring high security across our organization and our product and service lines. This is a great opportunity to build your career with a growing company.  The Security Engineer will have the opportunity to work with various teams to help analyze technical requirements, define configuration specifications, and develop project plans. An ideal Security Engineer candidate is someone who has background knowledge cybersecurity with a passion for problem-solving.

Job Description:
  • Lead in designing, planning, enhancing, and testing all security technologies used throughout the organization.
  • Provide technical support of information security technologies, providing problem analysis and resolution in a timely manner.
  • Investigate and quickly resolve security incidents and recommend corrective actions related to incidents.
  • Provide technical support of information security technologies, providing problem analysis and resolution in a timely manner.
  • Perform scheduled and on demand vulnerability assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Perform threat modeling on key products and services by identifying threats and developing controls to prevent, detect, and respond.
  • Partner with engineering teams to integrate and automate security at every level of the software development lifecycle.
  • Provide security recommendations and solutions for infrastructure and applications in cloud environment.
  • Perform special projects as assigned, while effectively managing time with competing priorities.

    • Required Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or information technology
  • BS degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent degree
  • Working knowledge and technical understanding of cloud service platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • General knowledge of networking, cybersecurity frameworks, constructs, and auditable standards.
  • Experience building and securing Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Working knowledge and experience with scripting and programming (PowerShell, python, etc.)
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills

    • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Supporting certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, OSCP)
  • Experience working with JIRA Project Management
