Mandiant Threat Intelligence’s On-Demand Analyst Support service within the Custom Intelligence, Synthesis, and Reporting (CISR) Team provides Mandiant customers with the ability to have our expert analyst team develop succinct, tailored deliverables answering the customer’s information needs and intelligence requirements. In support of this service, this role involves research, analysis, and writing short and long analytic reports in response to customer requirements. 

Well-suited candidates are early in their cybersecurity career and want the opportunity to work on a wide range of subjects with a diverse group of experts. This analyst will perform strategic, tactical, and operational research and analysis of adversarial cyber threats to provide timely, actionable, clear, and concise intelligence products to customers. 

What You Will Do: 

Under direct and indirect supervision from senior analysts you will respond to requests for information from a variety of internal and external Mandiant customers. You will utilize a variety of tools (both proprietary and otherwise) to provide context-rich answers to critical questions in a timely manner. Due to the nature of the work, topics range widely, and flexibility is key. 

Minimum Requirements: 

• A post-secondary cybersecurity degree/diploma program or equivalent industry standard certifications. 
• A basic understanding of:  
  • core cybersecurity concepts and risk management frameworks 
  • common enterprise IT infrastructure components 
  • operating system internals 
  • file systems and binaries 
  • networking 
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills. 
• A thirst for investigative work and an ability to discover and compile information using open sources and platforms. 

Desired Requirements:

• Enterprise security operations experience 
• Malware triage experience 
• Intelligence production experience

Minimum Salary: $55,000. Final salary will be determined commensurately with cost of living, experience level, and/or any other legally permissible considerations. Incentive Compensation: Eligibility for annual bonus subject to individual and company performance; eligibility for award of Restricted Stock Units subject to eligibility requirements, approval from Mandiant’s Compensation Committee, and vesting terms.
