You need to be legally eligible to work in Canada at the location(s) specified above and, where applicable, must have a valid work or study permit

This is a regular full time role with a schedule of 37.5 hours each week.

Prior to starting in this role, security checks, including a criminal record check must be successfully completed to the satisfaction of CIBC. An annual criminal record check may also be required.Threat Modelling & Intelligence – Provide modeling to identify, classify, prioritize, and rate enterprise threats based on a thorough analysis of CIBC’s architecture, “crown jewels”, and threat adversary intelligence. In this role you will perform internal and external threat trend analysis to identify emerging campaigns. You will be expected to develop and maintain a profile of threat actors that target the organization and also represent CIBC within threat intelligence sharing communities.

Consulting – Liaise with the Security Operations Centre (SOC) team to ensure that actionable ‘Indicators of Compromise’ are incorporated into SOC technologies and processes. You will also proactively recommend long and short term threat intelligence enhancements to monitor and detect SOC tools and controls.

Communication – Package and communicate intelligence effectively; provide executive level presentations.
