We're looking for a Security Partner for a brand-new, product-focused security team. We partner with and embed inside of existing sales, customer support, engineering, and product teams at ClickUp. The security team needs someone with a balanced approach across business, technical, and security domains to lead security conversations with all of ClickUp's business departments.

 

You will help develop the security vision, roadmap, and plans, identify risks to our platform, and collaboratively guide the security program with the ultimate goal of product and revenue enablement.

 

You will work to build a culture of security enablement. Your focus on our sales, customer support, legal, product management and engineering teams will allow them to sell, build and ship secure products.

 

You'll be a strategic partner working directly with various teams and business leaders. We're scaling quickly, and are looking for Security Partners who aren't afraid of this challenge!

 

The Role:


  • Embed yourself into existing sales and product teams, acting as a "security player-coach".

  • Balance product requirements, security requirements, business and sales needs, and audit requirements to ensure security considerations early in the SDLC.

  • Remove friction in customer support processes and sales engagements to enable product and revenue growth; support customers and sales, create marketing material and product requirements.

  • Build relationships with sales and support teams, product managers, engineers, analytics, operations, and security team members to enable shipping and selling a secure product.

  • Build and grow the security program and measure its impact. Provide insight on metrics and dashboards for measuring the security health of various teams and initiatives.


 

Qualifications:


  • 5 to 10 years of experience in technology.

  • 2+ years in product or project management or technical leadership.

  • Breadth across multiple security domains and depth in a few.

  • Experience in and growing security services and programs; measuring their impact.

  • Cloud and SaaS experience.

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.


 

Desirable:


  • Past experience with pushing business or technical initiatives; team, project, or indirect management of technology.

  • 2+ years of security program management, tech leadership, or engineering management.

  • Can facilitate a conversation rather than dictate it.

  • Any relevant or applicable security certifications such as CISA, CSSLP, or CISSP.
