Accenture Federal Services is seeking an Information System Security Officer to assist with development and oversight of operational Information Systems (IS) security implementation policy and guidelines while providing technical and procedural IS security suggestions to government and engineering teams. Responsibilities include:



  • Providing resolution for Authorization to Operate (ATO), continuous Ongoing Authorization (AO), Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI),  TS/SCI compliance, and Risk Management Framework (RMF) for systems that utilizes hybrid cloud solutions to accomplish the task(s) defined by our client.

  • Assisting with establishment of processes used to institute a development (Dev) security (Sec), and operations (Ops) environment as we develop a continuous integration – continuous delivery CI/CD pipeline to reduce our time to production and increase our deployment frequency as we integrate with other systems.


Here's what you need:



  • Bachelors’ degree with 3 years’ experience or 5 years’ work experience equivalent

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in IT, cyber security, and/or CNO software development or security research

  • 3 - 5 years network experience (including 1+ years of cloud experience) in large-scale global environment

  • 1+years’ experience with RMF workflow tools such as XACTA or eMASS

  • Active DoD 8570 Information Assurance (IAM) Level I, (IAT) level II Certification or Higher

  • Demonstrated knowledge and use of the NIST Risk Management Framework Processes


Bonus points if you have:



  • 1+ years’ experience controlling, labeling, virus scanning, using auditing tools, and secure data transfer between information systems.

  • 1+ years’ experience reviewing system and audit logs

  • 1+ years’ experience using databases or spreadsheets to develop/maintain Plans of Action & Milestone (POA&Ms)

  • Demonstrated knowledge working with Linux command line

  • Demonstrated knowledge and use of the NIST Risk Management Framework Processes

  • Experience implementing security best practices in production environments

  • Experience with deploying and maintaining IT development and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Nexus, Jenkins, Gitlab etc)  

  • Comfortable with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders

  • Support mission-focused infrastructure to ensure performance and availability of system and environment


Security Clearance:



  • TS Clearance with eligibility for SCI access and willingness to undergo a Polygraph examination


 



Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.     




 




Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role   




California: $90,700 - $147,100  




Colorado: $90,700 - $127,100 




New York City: $105,000 - $147,100  



Washington: $96,600 - $135,200
