Listing Description
The Information Security team is responsible for managing all aspects of the Company’s cyber risk. The successful candidate will be joining a growing team dedicated to building innovative security solutions and adopting the latest best practices.
What You'll Do
- Administer various end-user support functions pertaining to security, including zero-trust/VPN, endpoint detection and response (EDR), mobile device management (MDM) and identity and access management (IAM).
- Lead the security awareness and compliance function at Gro Intelligence and be an evangelist for information security best practices across the Company.
- Assist with monitoring, triaging, analyzing, and responding to security events and incidents.
- Provide basic IT support for Gro Intelligence end-users and escalate issues as necessary.
- Prepare, maintain, and report security dashboards to continuously evaluate Gro’s security posture.
- Develop and update documentation related to information security policies and operations.
- Engage in special projects and team efforts as needed to mitigate security concerns.
What We're Looking For
- A highly motivated, self-starting individual with keen interest in cloud-native cybersecurity
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (2 years of relevant experience in information technology or 1 year of relevant experience in cybersecurity)
- Working knowledge of networking and system level concepts
Nice to Have
- A degree in an information technology or cybersecurity related field
- Graduate work and/certifications in information security
Compensation
The salary range for this role is expected to be $70,000 - $90,000. Other compensation for the role includes equity, a generous PTO policy and health, vision & dental insurance.
