Join Workday's technical security team as a Security Engineer. This position is responsible for all technical aspects of security. You will be responsible for working closely with the Operations, Network, Security, and IT teams to identify, prototype, implement, and support security solutions. You will also provide technical support for Incident Response and SOC monitoring. You will be part of a rapidly growing team with strong leadership and room for personal and professional growth. This is a critical and exciting role that puts you at the front line of protecting the Workday infrastructure and customers.Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience

5+ years of professional security engineering or systems engineering/administration

Ideal candidate will have strong understanding of industry trends in all areas of Cybersecurity and be an accomplished security practitioner

Experience with plans, designs, and evaluations of security systems and architectures

Experience working in 24 x 7 centers with complex, high transaction, high availability environments

Ability to translate high-level security requirements and willingness to bring creative ideas to early stage development process

Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, both oral and written

Your arsenal should include expert knowledge of:

1337 System Administration

UNIX and Linux wizard

Good knowledge of Windows (both client and server OS), group policies

OS hardening, Endpoint protection

Programming languages (Python, Ruby, Java, etc.)

Continuous integration/automation tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Git, Gerrit)

Experience with public cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, etc)

PKI, RSA, Crypto

Authentication (oAuth, SAML, LDAP)
