Listing Description
The Cloud COE is accountable for all cloud usage and governance activities for public cloud consumption in the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) space, cloud evangelism, and leading cloud transformation activities across the IT department. In addition, they will:
• Provide frameworks and oversight for automation and cloud deployments
• Work with stakeholders, customers, and leadership to understand the needs of the business
• Develop charters, roadmaps, and metrics for all cloud-related business services
• Ensure governance activities are structured and completed appropriately
• Manage the budget for cloud consumption and maintain control of overall spendBachelor’s degree in a related field.
10+ years of experience in related field including IT Infrastructure or Cloud Architecture
Strong expertise in Amazon Web Services and solid understanding of other cloud computing platform like Google Cloud Platform and Azure
Strong expertise in containers (Docker), container management (Kubernetes, ECS), container security,
Strong expertise in cloud management tools, including logging, monitoring, and compliance (guard rails)
Strong expertise in developing self-service cloud model to the application development and solution owner communities
Strong expertise in developing automation strategies, implementation approach, guidelines and reference implementation
Deep understanding of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Container as a service (CaaS), function as a service (FaaS) and software as a service (SaaS)
Deep understanding of networking concepts like VPC, load balancing, firewall, routing, VPN, software defined networks, software defined firewalls and networking
Deep understanding of remote location infrastructure architecture and network connectivity with cloud computing platforms
Solid understanding of microservice architecture, API ecosystems, API management, and API economy
Solid understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) process and tool sets
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines. Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects with interrelated teams and technology issues simultaneously within aggressive timelines
Excellent organizational change management skills. IT Assessment workshop planning and facilitation skills.
Ability to work effectively within a matrix-management organization
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization
Outstanding leadership and organizational skills
