You’ll be joining Teleport as its first Cloud/Infrastructure Security Engineer focusing on building, maintaining, and securing our rapidly expanding infrastructure. You will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security. Qualified engineers will have a background in security, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering.

Skills you'll bring:

Strong security background

Strong experience with Linux administration

Understanding of application architecture in a cloud setting

Analyzing cloud environments to ensure secure configurations

Participating in security reviews and threat modeling, including security code review, architectural design, and dynamic testing

Ability to communicate security issues in a concise and meaningful way

Implementing changes to production infrastructure with the goal to increase stability and security

Ability to implement security-specific monitoring and alerting

Experience in writing software that interacts with APIs

Experience working with vulnerability scanning and container security tools

Experience supporting internal and external pen-testing engagements

Have experience in the majority of our preferred tooling:

Bash, Python, or Go for coding and automation

Infrastructure as Code using Git, Terraform, Packer, etc.

Kubernetes and Docker

Grafana / Prometheus / Loki

Panther

AWS / GCP

Security Hub / Inspector / GuardDuty

Drone.io

Teleport
