Our computer vision team is a leader in the creation of cutting-edge algorithms and software for automated image and video analysis. Our solutions embrace deep learning and add measurable value to government agencies, commercial organizations, and academic institutions worldwide. In This Position You Will:
  • Validate, optimize, and deploy advanced exploitation algorithms for national security.
  • Contribute your strong programming ability and experience to develop robust solutions for real-world problems.
  • Collaborate with researchers on projects related to machine learning, artificial intelligence, and computer vision. 
  • Perform rapid prototyping and enhanced development to be integrated into operational systems.
  • Perform troubleshooting, bug fixes, and maintenance of existing and new code to ensure stability and robustness.

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Skills in C++ including developing, debugging, and deploying operational systems.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • BS in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, systems engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of software development experience.
  • Familiarity with build environments on Windows and Linux systems.
  • Expertise using Git for branchy revision control.
  • Experience using Github or Gitlab for code reviews, documentation, and release management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.
  • Required skills can be gained concurrent with education, and skills will be measured through passage of a technical screen.
  • Due to contractual requirements, this position requires US Citizenship.

  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active TS clearance. 
  • Experience with the certification & accreditation process for cleared software.
  • Database experience, including PostgreSQL with GIS extensions and/or Mongo.
  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Vagrant, Packer, and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Experience developing and/or using machine learning, artificial intelligence, and computer vision algorithms.
  • Experience with parallel programming.
  • Experience with distributed processing, task queues, and workflow management tools.
  • Experience working on distributed teams.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
  • Interest and experience in open source software development.
  • Excellent customer service focus and communication skills, both oral and written; ability to effectively communicate with multiple individuals in varying levels of the organization.
