Cybersecurity Specialist
MCAS Cherry Point, Cherry Point, NC 28533
90 – 100K (Depending on experience) - Full Time with Benefits
Remote Position with travel requirements
Your work will involve collecting and analyzing cyber security and network data relating to control systems to identify potential system deficiencies and vulnerabilities to all threats and hazards.
To qualify, you will need:
• Active DOD Secret Security Clearance
• Active CompTIA Security+CE
• Candidate will be required to acquire, within 6 months of hire date, their Navy Qualified Validator’s certificate
• 2 years of experience with the following items:
o Understanding of Navy Access and Authorize (A&A) process
o Understanding of how interconnected systems and computer networks operate
o Be able to support vulnerability scanning and advising on remediation efforts
o Experience with policy creation and lifecycle management
o Experience with accessing threats and vulnerabilities to systems
o Experience with ensuring networks and systems are being developed in accordance with RMF standards
o Understanding of DoD’s implementation of RMF
o Understanding of DISA STIGs and SRGs
o Understanding of NIST Security Controls
o Has had documented experience with working on a package that has received an ATO.
