We are hiring for
Application Security Engineer
4-6 yrs | Bangalore Office
What you will be doing:
Lead application security reviews and threat modeling, including code review and security testing for mobile and web applications
Lead in the development of automated security testing to validate that secure coding best practices are being used
Guide and advise product development teams as SMEs in the area of application security.
Participate and assist in initiatives to holistically address multiple vulnerabilities found in a functional area
Support and evolve the bug bounty program
Strong understanding and experience with common security libraries, security controls, and common security flaws
Own and perform application security vulnerability management
Expert understanding of the IaaS and SaaS model
What you will bring along:
4-6 years of relevant work experience.
Strong experience working closely with developers
Experience with OWASP, static/dynamic analysis, and common security tools.
A basic understanding of network and web-related protocols (such as TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, protocols)
Excellent and professional communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to articulate complex topics in a clear and concise manner.
Experience identifying security issues through code review.
Basic development or scripting experience and skills ( Golang,java,kotlin etc)
Experience leading efforts or managing application security teams working in the DevOps model
Preferred Qualification
CEH / CompTIA security+ certification/ OSCP/ CPENT/ any cloud certification
Proficiency in WAZUH, EDR, Firewall, Prisma Cloud, Burp suite, JMeter and postman.
Knowledge of cyber kill chain process and MITRE att&ck framework.
Proficiency in digital forensics tools FTK imager, volatility, Wireshark and CAINE.
Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP.
Effective verbal and written communication skills
