Our cloud-based Data Privacy & Protection Platform is built by privacy experts using industry best practices to help organizations simplify, structure, and automate their approach to privacy program management.  We help companies comply with today’s California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and EU General Data Privacy Regulation (GDPR) requirements and remain ready for any future regulatory regimes. 

WireWheel is searching for an experienced security leader to grow our security and compliance programs. In this role you will work with leadership to establish priorities, then lead the implementation and operation of these programs.

Responsibilities for this role includes

• Leading our existing SOC-2 compliance program


• Initiating an ISO 27001 certification effort


• Primary responsibility for managing corporate security policy and procedures


• Leading our risk identification and management program


• Overseeing the incident response process


• Forming a company-wide security training program


• Leading our vendor management program


• Responding to customer security questionnaires


• Coordinating with leadership of various departments to improve security practices and maintain compliance

Success in this role will require

• Enthusiasm for owning and improving WireWheel’s compliance and security programs


• Past success working in fast-paced environments


• 5+ years experience in security and compliance roles


• 2+ years experience in leadership positions


• Experience leading SOC-2 or ISO 27001 compliance efforts


• Familiarity with technical concepts such as encryption, firewalls and cloud computing


• Experience with engineering processes such as SDLC, static code analysis, and release processes


• Past success operating independently and autonomously


• The ability to form productive working relationships with various department leads

This is a remote position. WireWheel employees live all over the world, but our core hours of operation are US Eastern Time.
