Listing Description

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Head of Labs who will be in charge of our malware analysis team.

As the Head of Labs, you will serve as the primary contact for a highly motivated and talented team of junior malware analysts. You will provide guidance to juniors, design and develop internal tools, define processes and ensure that internal documentation is handled correctly, to accomplish the best results together with your team. You will also communicate with R&D to guarantee that your team’s findings lead to an ongoing improvement of the detection efficiency of our products.

You will supervise and be involved in the ongoing creation of technical content for marketing purposes (blogs, whitepapers, etc.). Your job will also include a deep hands-on malware analysis if desired. Furthermore, you will supervise and coordinate research activities and present your findings at international technical conferences and/or be involved in creating the technical content of such presentations.

You will also serve as the primary contact and technical leader of the evaluation customer monitoring process.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven knowledge of malware landscape

• Proven experience in defeating well-known anti-analysis techniques

• Desire to lead people

• Fluent in English

• On-site employment at our headquarters in Bochum (partial remote work possible)
