SAIT’s School for Advanced Digital Technology is our boldest transformation to date — a new tech-driven training hub, arming students with the digital skills needed to re-imagine their career. The school just opened its doors in the historic Odd Fellows building in downtown Calgary and it will lead the way for Albertans and Canadians to prosper from the new digital economy through innovative digital education and training. The Opportunity
The School for Advanced Digital Technology at SAIT offers an exciting and diverse range of programs in information, media and engineering technologies. From broadcast and print journalism to web development and beyond, our career programs position graduates for success by providing learning experiences that are relevant, skills-oriented, and applied in the real world.
SAIT requires instructors to teach in the Information Systems Security(ISS) Program. The ISS program prepares students to enter the security profession with confidence and solid fundamental knowledge. The contract instructor position encompasses teaching classes in all our semesters.
The instructor's role is to professionally manage the learning process of the students and to ensure that students achieve established learning objectives to the maximum of their potential. The instructor is to make use of any and all available resources, methods, techniques and strategies, to ensure student success. The candidate is expected to work collaboratively with colleagues, and check in regularly with course leads, to create a learning environment which is pedagogically sound, technically supported and innovative in nature.
Note: We are currently recruiting for a contract instructor to start August 29th, 2022, with potential for extension through the following semesters.
