The Role:

FireEye seeks experienced IT professionals with strong technical and project management skills, a track record of exemplary performance, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As a Service Transition Manager (STM), you will be responsible for ensuring that new clients have a fantastic first 90 days with FireEye. You'll work side-by-side with a team of top-notch security experts to lead the service initiation, optimization, and stabilization as the client settles in for a long, happy relationship with us. You will work with significant clients in the Fortune 1000 and should be comfortable in a 24x7x365 operational environment, following existing and establishing new processes and procedures, and having a customer service and operational mindset.

Responsibilities:

Manage the technical onboarding activities for new FireEye as a Service (FaaS) clients, including technology architecture design, deployment, and optimization

Focus on general onboarding setup, technical planning and ensuring the client is prepared to rack, stack and configure FireEye as a Service appliances.

Develop the technical project plan based on expectations set with the client and information shared by client

Work with the client and ensure all information is gathered to create their portal accounts. Through continued collaboration with the client use the network and endpoint templates to get more details on the client’s security posture. Document all information derived in the project plan on our internal tracking systems.

Provide operational oversight of onboarding-related service delivery and ensure related deliverables are timely and of high quality

Periodically review client technology deployments for proper functionality and optimization

Capable of leading and tracking numerous projects with divergent schedules

Able to lead service initiation and onboarding related activities

Able to deliver succinct and fact-based communications, both verbally and in writing

Able to successfully interface and establish rapport with clients (internal and external)

Able to quickly master, simplify, and communicate the value proposition of complex subjects to clients

Able to use formal project management skills in planning, tracking, and reporting on project progress

Able to evaluate customer needs, coordinate design for a solution, and clearly communicate solutions

Capable of codifying customer needs across accounts and use them to drive service delivery

Knowledge of tools and technologies used for enterprise security

Understanding of current information security challenges and solutions

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline

3+ years of experience with network security design and architecture

Thorough understanding of computer networking and protocols

Familiarity with Unix and Windows operating systems

Understanding of the components that comprise a successful information security program

Familiarity with information security principles and risk management

Understanding of security controls for common platforms and devices, including Windows, Unix, Linux, and network equipment

Technical background in network administration, systems administration or development

Mastery of Unix and Windows operating systems

Minimum of five years of information technology experience

Additional Qualifications:
