Challenges You Will Solve
Red Canary is looking for an experienced Product Management leader who has expertise with designing professional services offerings, identifying opportunities integrating software to improve customer experiences, and is passionate about applying their expertise to discovering new ways to help customers assess their security posture. 

As the Principal Product Manager for our security services  team, you will be responsible for providing the product vision, strategy, and execution for our security readiness services  team. You will design and lead a multi-year product roadmap, balancing short and long-term goals and investments. In this role, you will work closely with product leadership, security operations, design, engineering, and other cross-functional teams to determine Red Canary’s security services  strategies, ensure successful product launches, and plan for global market growth.

What You'll Do
  • Translate business strategy into a product roadmap, articulating trade-offs and business cases for new features through data-driven prioritization and deep understanding of business needs
  • Nurture relationships with internal and external counterparts, experts, and thought leaders
  • Work closely with peers in Product Security, Engineering , Product Marketing, Customer Success and more on planning and execution for highly scalable and efficient production systems
  • Translate problems and opportunities into actionable user stories through  frequent interaction with customers. You will define and frame those problems for your team. 
  • Develop and adhere to a disciplined product development process, ensuring key milestones are met. Drive product insights, roadmap prioritization, and resource allocation. Ensure continued focus on long-term innovation
  • Manage your roadmap: prioritize opportunities from a wide range of inputs, understand and prioritize the work so your team is working on the most impactful items
  • Collaborate with your peers in Product Management, Operations Leaders,  and Engineering Managers to prioritize and deliver enhancements  
  • Work closely with the customer security operations  team and be their internal and external champion
  • Own and maintain the quality of the product areas you and your team are responsible for; deliver innovative world-class services,  software, and stellar  customer experience with each release
  • Constantly evaluate if your product is meeting the needs of your customers, solving their problems, and delivering on the business opportunity. You use qualitative, quantitative, techniques with customer interviews and experimentation
  • Work closely with cross-functional leaders, other product leaders, and strategic areas around the company to gain buy-in, forge partnerships, and build enthusiasm for the product vision.
  • Develop product requirements incorporating feedback and input from customers, partners and in-house teams on product strategy and finding ways to expand product market reach
  • Develop an understanding of various customer profiles by speaking frequently with customers, prospects, and others to explore work styles and identify pain points, translating them into enhancements
  • Partner with Product Marketing to help define go-to-market strategy & messaging, assist with product positioning, benefits, and target personas

  • What You'll Bring
  • 10 + years of experience product management or parallel discipline; experience building software products and shipping products as a Product Manager or Engineering Manager in an agile/scrum/kanban environment
  • Broad understanding of information security market and emerging technologies; specific experience with EDR/MDR technologies is a big plus
  • Depth in understanding of consulting engagements, service delivery, pricing and delivery models
  • You are proficient in staffing models for consulting or service delivery team and will be able to work directly with security operations leaders and staff to get their buy in
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and change and can process the information, define the strategy and deliver results at scale; you have the ability to distill complex and ambiguous situations into impactful plans for your team
  • You are excellent at verbal and written communication skills and use it to articulate the vision, drive clarity and influence at all levels including team members, stakeholders, execs, partners and customers
  • You have the fluidity to act as an individual contributor and produce substantive deliverables
  • Proactively solve issues and act as a single point of contact / subject matter expert across assigned scope
  • Adept at understanding and curious about new technologies, systems, and tools
  • Targeted base salary range: $185,000 - $205,000 + bonus eligibility and equity depending on experience.
