Listing Description

This position will be part of the Cryptographic Operations & Services (COpS) team. The successful candidate will perform technical integration functions as part of the application Key Management team (CKMS/Vormetric), working to define and manage engagement, solution definition, end user support, and project implementation tasks.

Performing activities which may include any or all of the following activities:

• Work under general direction of IT Risk and Information Security Director

• Work ITSC requests supporting the application key management functions

• Develop and manage engagement process for application key requests

• Develop and manage support process for application keys.

• Monitor support mailbox and respond to inquiries

• Work customer problem tickets (INCs)

• Support audit and PRSA activities

• Support change management (RFC) activities

• Will require some work activities during non-business hours (evenings and weekends).

• May require some domestic and/or international travel

• Maintain internal documentation library, ensuring process and other documentation is regularly updated to reflect the latest operational processes and requirements.

• Ensure records are maintained for compliance and historical analysis.

• Provide analytical support as needed for issue management, project assessments, and reporting

• Participate in the evaluation of products or procedures to enhance productivity, security, and effectiveness

• Prepare materials (reports, presentations, etc.) to enable informed decision making.

• Provide consultation and recommendations to internal business partners, customers and vendors in application Key management activities and projects

• Provide root cause analysis assistance for incident management and post-implementation efforts

QualificationsDo you have what it takes to lead the way in cyber security?

• Understanding of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography concepts and technologies.

• Experience in Information Security and Cryptography capabilities.

• · Strong interpersonal skills to work with varied constituencies

• · Strong analytical, communication, problem solving, and organization skills.

• · Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple concurrent assignments with strong attention to details.

Preferred Additional Skills

• · Knowledge and experience working with American Express’ ITSC platform, Service Now.

• · Knowledge and experience with any of the following technologies: Vormetric Encryption, PGP Encryption, Voltage Encryption, X.509 Certificate management, Hardware Security Modules (HSMs – Thales & Safenet)

• · Holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems (or equivalent hands on work experience

· Professional security certification preferred (e.g. CISSP, CISM)

• Knowledge of security frameworks, standards, guidelines and best practices (i.e. PCI, ISO, COBIT, FFIEC, SOX)

• · Knowledge of AXP Information Security and Information Technology Policies, Standards, and Reference Architectures.
