This role is to uphold Mandiant’s Vision at all times and spreading Mandiant’s ethos, brand value & respect during delivery of consulting services engagements across the entire portfolio of Mandiant Services in Japan and other APJ regions.

As a part of this role, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with client leadership client working groups, Japan sales & pre-sales team, Mandiant global consulting services team, backend operations team and regional business heads.

You will be expected to effectively communicate in English and Japanese (including translation) as required, to ensure client expectation are understood and service delivery is aligned. You will plan, co-ordinate, govern and report engagements across Japan and APJ for all Mandiant Consulting Services. You will deliver enhanced customer experience, easy of operations for consultants and insightful reporting to the Regional Director. During delivery of active engagements, you will assist the Regional Director and Sales team to identify opportunities to upsell other Mandiant consulting services.

At all times, you will be responsive to customer and delivery team’s requirements, sensitive to multi-culture teams, collaborative with all stakeholders and contribute to the region’s growth and success.

Key Responsibilities (Specifics)

 1.       Engagement Lead

 - As an Engagement Lead, you will play a role of a Project Manager for Large/Medium/Multi-service projects or as a Project Co-ordinator for small/single service projects.

- engage with the Function teams to size and scope the project and Work with client and consulting team to plan and deliver the project . Be responsible for identifying and assignment of consultants to projects

- prepare project plan, project kick-off presentation, governance plan, periodic reporting and overall project budget (efforts, time and money) for every project

- ensure project deliverables including periodic progress updates, project economics and project revenue are being tracked and reported

- accountable for ensure overall and continual compliance to Mandiant & Client’s Engagement Agreement and overall Mandiant policies and leverage Mandiant PM tools for tracking, governance, and reporting 

2.       Engagement Experience Management

 - As an Engagement Lead, you will also focus on enhance client experience. Build strong working relationship with various individuals relevant to the engagement

- Ensure responsiveness to all stakeholders for their requirements, escalations, or request for assistance

- Be sensitive to cultural variation across all internal and external stakeholder while dealing with multi-region teams

- acknowledge good work and provide critical feedback in an appropriate manner and identify, record, escalate and manage project risks in a timely manner by collaborating with various team members and participating in relevant forums

- Continual engagement with client on yearly retainer services and seek timely feedback from all and ensure satisfactory resolution

3.       Translation Support

- This role is crucial to Mandiant’s consulting services business in Japan because majority of consulting services are delivered in English. That is where you will: 

Estimate and include efforts required for translation support for all relevant engagement during the scoping of the engagement

Include these efforts for sizing and cost estimation of the project

- Assist in verbal and written translation in all engagement communication including but not limited to:

o   Customer requirements

o   Alignment of consulting services to the requirements

o   Scoping and sizing of engagement

o   Co-ordination with clients for planning and scheduling tasks

o   Escalations and feedback

o   Preparation and acceptance of Minutes of Meeting

o   Preparation and delivery of presentation

o   Day-to-day email and all project related communication

- Ensure all deliverables are appropriately translated, queries resolved, and final ones are accepted

4.       Business Development Support 

- In addition to your PMO tasks, you will: 

Collaborate with Sales, Regional Director and Mandiant’s backend operation team to support new opportunities and business grown in the region

Engage with regional sales team to work on opportunities identified by them and support them in defining customer requirements

engage with various functions to scope and size services to these requirements

Work with Regional Director for pricing support

Assist in preparation of Statement of Work (SOW), formal quotations, obtaining PO

Delivering consulting presentations with regional Director (translation) or Sales

5.       MIS & Management Reporting

- Support Regional Director in sales support (Contracts, Statement of Work, MSA)

- Building MIS for region

-  Leverage Mandiant tools for reporting (included by not limited to)

o   Resource utilization

o   Project progress

o   Risk status

o   Delivered Revenue


Qualifications

Mandiant has variety of services, and these are delivered by teams from many countries across the world. It is important for the candidate to meet the following requirements to be successful in this role:

- Proficiency in English and Japanese – to manage client relationships (not just from Japan but from other regions) and to collaborate effectively with other Mandiant individuals

- Strong experience in Project Management for engagement that delivered consulting services to the customers (with experience in using project management methodologies and tools such as MS Projects, Planners, OpenAir, etc.)

- Prior experience in dealing with C Level executive such as CISO

- Strong understanding of Cyber security practices, services, operations, and products (Including security programs such as incident response, mission support, cyber threat intelligence, security operations, data protection and security architecture)

- Prior experience driving consulting services / professional services engagement with large customers

-Prior experience to engage and interact at senior levels in the client organization

- Prior experience accessing and building information security programs for enterprise organisations (desirable)

- Ability to set and manage expectations with senior stakeholders and team members

- Good negotiation, co-ordination, persuasion, and conflict resolution skills

- Previous employment in the cyber and information security domains
