As a Security Consultant working within our EMEA Center of Excellence (CoE), you will be part of a global team helping customers implement and adopt our next-generation Security and Observability solutions. This is a hands-on technical role, for which you will be deploying and configuring Sumo Logic solutions to meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities:



  • Deploy and configure Sumo Logic Security and Observability solutions for Customers.

  • Assist and advise Customers on data collection techniques and best practices.

  • Configure queries, alerts, rules, reports, and dashboards.

  • Work closely with Product Management and Engineering teams to improve overall customer experience and our products.


Requirements:



  • Experience working with Security Solutions, especially SIEM tools (Sumo Logic, Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm, etc…)

  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

  • Understanding of modern application architectures (distributed system, microservices, serverless technologies).

  • Experience working with logs or metrics relevant to DevSecOps.

  • Good scripting skills in one of the following languages: Python, Perl, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Working knowledge of container technologies, such as Kubernetes, Docker and ECS.

  • Ability to write complex regular expressions or SQL queries.

  • Experience working with orchestration solutions, such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strive to understand functional and business requirements to best deploy the solution.

  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high growth and rapidly changing environment.


Nice to have:



  • Experience in a customer-facing role (consulting, sales engineering, etc).

  • Experience working as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).

  • Experience in securing or monitoring in public cloud environments and SaaS applications.

  • Experience working with logging, metrics, and tracing related to Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions.

  • Experiences working with open-source observability tools, such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana.

  • BS/B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or Engineering.

  • CISSP, CEH, OSCP certifications.
