Listing Description

As a Game Security Engineer, you will be part of a critical team focusing on making the game more robust. You will be responsible for reviewing design to spot potential issues and for looking in the code to find security holes and breaches.

You are a team player, work well with multiple departments in a cross-disciplinary team, and use your experience to mentor and guide other members of the team.

Responsibilities: 

• Work closely with engineers and designers to ensure a smooth online player experience.


• Propose and participate in fixing the potential security issues.


• Help to design features involving clients and server to reduce cheating.


• Analyse the source code to find vulnerabilities.


• Share your knowledge with other engineers so the whole team can be involved in the anti-cheat combat.


• Help design and develop tools to understand how cheaters attack the game post launch.

Requirements: 

• A passion for fighting against cheaters and hackers.


• Familiarity with different types of cheats and how they work, particularly for competitive games.


• Strong expertise in C++.


• Shipped at least one AAA game


• Expertise in reverse engineering.


• Experience with anti-cheat technologies.


• Experience analysing multiplayer games with multiple online services.


• Excellent communication skills.

Bonus

• Experience with Unreal Engine.


• Experience with hacking/cracking software.
