Strong candidates will have a desire to learn about Bridgewater’s Investment Engine, the underlying technology stack that supports it, and how their contributions directly impact the company’s goals. Motivated by a passion for technology, problem-solving, and a desire to help in the broader Security mission, these individuals are able to quickly react/respond to challenges in front of them, while also maintaining broader perspective towards longer term goals.

Position Requirements:

• 6+ years of industry experience in Technical Security field

• Proven track record of securing on premise and cloud environments

• Ability to drive results, both within internal teams, and across multiple departments and business units

• Strong interpersonal skills, oral communication skills, and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

• Working knowledge of the Linux and Windows operating systems

• Experience in project and program management practices

Preferred Candidates would also meet the following criteria:

• Experience developing Splunk dashboards, alerts, and other visualizations

• CISSP, SSCP or other relevant industry certifications

The individual in this role must be able to understand and communicate department security risk for the Investment Engine and ensure the security of the existing technology environment. The individual is responsible for managing the SSDLC process for new technology and software, as well as large scale or multi-stream projects with strong abilities to efficiently track, prioritize, and orchestrate projects to completion. This person requires the technical skills to execute on project work and an ability to advise/consult technical engineers. This person must be capable of continuous auditing/monitoring of the Investment Engine technology environment and act as a strategic partner to the Department Heads of Security and the Investment Engine.
