Your New Role and Team
Sanctuary AI is looking to hire a Product Security Architect. Reporting to the Director of Software Engineering, you will provide expertise and guidance to prevent and manage threats and vulnerabilities across our distributed, hybrid network while gaining a comprehensive understanding of the infrastructure that powers our general-purpose robots.

The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about information security and possesses the expertise to establish and maintain policies, standards, and procedures to support the monitoring, detection, reporting, and resolution of potential threats and vulnerabilities. In this role, you will lead the effort to implement and communicate best practices for security requirements/disaster recovery solutions to developer and operations teams. You will also be the foremost authority for evaluating and analyzing efforts to improve the company's resilience to threats.

Our Success Criteria
  • Participate in evaluating, designing, and implementing security-related best practices for authentication/authorization, network access control, data at rest/data in transit encryption, firewalls, etc.
  • Conduct on-premise and cloud service security reviews to ensure alignment with industry best practices
  • Enforce secure infrastructure deployment and build automated reporting and monitoring solutions to provide feedback to stakeholders
  • Achieve company-wide visibility as you communicate practical security guidance and threat modeling techniques to our tech leads and executive team

  • Your Experience
    Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience defining security architecture, standards, and solutions across multiple system components and disciplines (for example, API security and serverless functions security, embedded security, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Network routing, Firewalls, etc. with Public Cloud Providers (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Expertise in assessing and evaluating vulnerabilities across various OS, cloud provider ecosystems, open-source components, container-based systems, deployment frameworks, etc.
  • Experience in architecting highly available backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent 

  • Skills
  • Familiarity with one or more programming or scripting language: Python, Typescript, Shell scripting, C++
  • Experience with network and application level design security like (DNS-SEC, OWASP, HTTP, TLS, etc.)
  • Understanding the fundamentals of the cryptographic technologies, authentication and authorization protocol, and application security testing (SAST & DAST)
