About the Role
As a Network / Information Security Engineer, you will be performing an upgrade from Juniper to Palo Alto NextGen firewalls and needs an engineer with at least 5-7 years’ experience with design, implementation, administration, and support.
The Ideal Candidate
Engineers need to have extensive knowledge of both LAN/WAN designs and the support processes encompassing enterprise network deployments. They should be well-versed with network basics, such as TCP/IP, the OSI model, and IPv6, proficient in network configuration and security rules, and conversant with network routing, VPN, MPLS, and VRF.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
7-10 years of network engineering experience (firewalls) and 3-5 years with a cybersecurity focus.
Security certifications are a plus (e.g., CEH, GCIH, GCIA or CISSP).
Experience interpreting and creating network diagrams and firewall rulesets and communicating with technical and non-technical personnel.
Experience with configuration, implementation, and support of IDS/IPS and WCF solutions.
Functional knowledge of network packet capture and analysis.
Functional knowledge of Windows server and desktop operating systems.
Experience designing and implementing enterprise-class information security and networking technologies.
