The Client Success Manager position is a vital member of the National Security Team. Partnered with a Client Director who establishes account engagement strategies, the Client Success Manager supports revenue generation through new customer acquisition, renewal, and expansion of assigned clients. The Client Success Manager must navigate across several different job functions including, but not limited to, marketing, sales, operations, and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Customer Acquisition

  •  Manage, qualify and process leads from various lead generation sources

  • Develop familiarity with customers’ missions, requirements and use cases
  • Identify customer buying agencies, offices, decision makers, procurement officials and key points of contact
  • Build lead lists and robust pipeline.
  • Align with the account engagement strategy, support coordination of meetings and demonstrations.
  • Qualify and validate customer-specific needs to identify potential opportunities and scale solutions in tandem with Solutions Engineers and Client Directors.
  • Based on a thorough understanding of customer needs, support development of quotes and proposals.
  • Maintain awareness of latest product and pricing updates; communicate effectively with customers.
  • Effectively communicate with support team regarding order processing.
  • Accurately forecast and track client engagements and sales revenue utilizing Salesforce
  • Achieve and exceed revenue goals via prospect and client engagements

  • Renewal & Expansion

  • Provide top-tier customer service.
  • Conduct frequent and active post-sales engagement; manage consistent customer check-ins.
  • Serve as post-sales main point of contact to consistently drive value & elevate customer experience.
  • Act as customer advocate managing issue resolution, escalations, technology adoption, training, software demonstrations and product enhancements.
  • Employ active listening, coupled with understanding of customers’ needs and missions to identify opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, new business.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key influencers and buyers.
  • Actively communicate account information with Client Director (e.g., new POCs, new missions, etc.)

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
  • U.S. Government DoD, DHS, or Intelligence Community experience preferred.
  • U.S. government security clearance preferred; ability to obtain a clearance is required.
  • Demonstrated skills using a Customer Relationship Management platform (Salesforce experience is preferred).
  • Minimum of 5+ years proven experience leading customer relationships in a sales environment.
  • Previous SaaS experience is desired; Enterprise preferred.
  • Proven success in new customer acquisition and account growth.
  • Demonstrated success in customer facing role(s) (consulting or account management).
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills in conjunction with the ability to build and strengthen relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven level of sophistication and competency in client support skills: handling objections, issue resolution, negotiation, active listening, and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated history of being highly driven, focused and committed with a proven track record of consistent sales achievement.
