WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
Box has a world class security organization responsible for protecting our customer and employee data around the globe. We are looking for a Sr Security Engineer to be a part of our Corporate Security team to design and drive our initiatives in an evolving threat landscape. In this role, you will architect, develop, deploy and manage solutions to secure and monitor Box’s corporate assets by partnering closely with the IT organization.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As an enterprise security engineer, you will
- Deploy and maintain systems and tools to support Box’s corporate security strategy
- Perform security reviews, assessment and consulting with stakeholders from Incident response, IT Operations and engineering teams
WHO YOU ARE
You are a security professional with
- Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, information security or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in the cyber security space or similar background
- Good understanding of enterprise security principles and best practices related to endpoint security, system security, network security, remote access, identity and access management
- Experience with network security assessments, SaaS integrations and recommending secure configurations
- Hands-on prior experience of a combination of below:
- Firewalls/web application firewalls (WAFs), VPNs, endpoint detection and response (EDR), data loss prevention (DLP), anti-virus/malware, identity and access management (IAM/PAM), proxy deployments, CASB, email security solutions, Mobile Device Management (MDM), system and OS hardening, vulnerability management
- Experience working in cloud native and hybrid cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
