As a Senior Manager of Security and WAN Edge Product Management, you will help lead Extreme Networks’ key initiatives in security solutions as well as WAN Edge offerings. You will be responsible for leading a product management team accountable for delivering comprehensive solutions in Security for wired and wireless which include zero trust, access control, and threat detection.  In addition, the team will also deliver zero trust solutions which enable secure access to applications, ensuring visibility and health of devices, and leveraging identity-based access policies, while taking advantage of contextual information available within the network with actionable knowledge based on enhanced insights.

Product Managers play a highly visible role and are vital to the development and execution of the One Network, One Cloud, One Extreme product strategy. As PM’s, we are responsible for delivering the best customer experience across all our solutions allowing our customers to become more productive and efficient. As the product management leader, you must have great team management skills with the ability to lead people, putting them in the right position for success, and ensuring the career development of each person. You must also excel at communication, collaboration, prioritization and accountability for solution delivery and adoption.

You will be responsible for the team defining and completing Extreme’s Security and Zero Trust strategies, optimizing the solutions to exceed the needs of our customers which includes reducing the burden on IT administrators and end users. You’ll be working externally with customers, partners, sales/sales engineering, and internally with all facets of engineering, product marketing and operations teams to ensure quality, security and usability of the solutions.



Requirements:
  • Required Skills:
  • You have at least 10 years of product management experience with 3+ years of SaaS experience preferable.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in the fields of computer science, engineering, or mathematics
  • 5 years of security industry experience
  • Experience in authentication, identity & access management, cybersecurity, cloud applications, device management systems, access security and/or zero trust solutions
  • Ability to create alliances to develop an offering of exceptional design, quality, and experience and jointly improve our competitive advantage
  • Prioritizing work and being responsible for a strategic roadmap for integrations for zero trust use cases
  • Assisting with cross-selling initiatives to enhance customer experience
  • Experience with design or design research, and a history of building strong relationships with designers and engineers to deliver SaaS solutions that solve complex problems
  • Ability to understand and contribute to conversations about technical architecture and/or API design guidance and direction
  • Strong presentation and leadership skills
  • Track record of successful delivery of complex projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to articulate positioning and technology
  • Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and use data to drive decision making
  • Awareness of compliance requirements and standards - PCI, PII, ISO 27001, NIST, FedRAMP
  • This position will eventually require up to 20% travel to customers
  • Location: We're open to filling this position in Europe/Ireland - or- Toronto, Ontario (site is in Thornhill) as we are in process of building Center of Excellence and this role is an important piece of that process.
