Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Senior Specialist, Security Architecture, Infrastructure & Security Solution for one of our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support with security architecture expertise for application and system development, infrastructure, and enterprise technology projects to ensure the security of the entity's information assets.
  • Assess compliance requirements related to application, network, and infrastructure security, including assessment against the entity's security policies and standards.
  • Support Identification of gaps and security risks associated with the solution architecture and provide mitigating controls where necessary
  • Support in reviewing security design and architecture of new projects and security solutions.
  • Provide guidance and support on information security practices to development projects, to ensure that systems developed provide adequate information security.
  • Acts as a team player and contributes to maintain and support Information Security initiatives as directed by Information Security Office (ISO).
  • Coordinate, support, and guide the respective teams across to meet the regulatory and other compliance requirements.
  • Support the implementation of infrastructure security solutions.
  • Acts as a team player and contributes to maintain and support IS initiatives as directed by ISO.
  • Maintain vendor relationships to maintenance and support for security tools and systems under ISO custody.
  • Perform technical evaluation of vendors for new solutions.
  • Identification of new tools and technologies to enhance security of IT networks.
  • Conduct POC and troubleshooting for implemented security solutions. 

    • Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in IT architecture / security solutions
  • Demonstrated experience in Solution/Enterprise Architecture including IT Security systems design, development of migration and retirement strategies. Experience in development, implementation, and migration strategies to manage the business risk of transitions to new solutions.
  • Experience in the financial services sector is an asset.
  • Working knowledge on enterprise architecture development and security architecture
  • Knowledge of security standards and principles.

  • Ensuring compliance activities are tracked and delivered on time.
  • Issues are identified and followed-up with relevant parties for closure.

  • Security design of new systems should comply with the Information Security Office’s Security Guidelines
  • Able to deliver security designs with no security design gaps
  • Able to deliver in a timely manner
  • Aligning work and deliverables in-line with the security management directives
  • Timely completion of reviews and assessments
  • Assist for management reporting
  • Maintaining a track of risks and closures
