About the Opportunity

As a Senior Manager, Crisis Management and Resiliency you’ll be responsible for maintaining global situational awareness of potential and developing risks capable of impacting the personnel and assets of WeWork.  This position will develop and lead the crisis and business continuity components within the Global Security & Resiliency department providing accurate, relevant, and timely crisis response, risk assessment and business continuity programming  in support of business operations and enterprise risk. The Senior Manager will be responsible for the development of relevant planning, training and execution of products that drive decision-making at higher levels. Core Duties:

  • Design, create and manage crisis management capability at the territory and enterprise level that supports field security leaders, operations leaders and cross functional partners. 

  • Serve as Crisis team leader for enterprise level incidents and as needed support of territory level events.

  • Create and manage documentation of crisis plans, action plans and after action reporting with an eye toward continual improvement.

  • Provide regional security, operation and community personnel with crisis and resiliency support on high impact incidents up to and including mitigations planning, communication recommendations, information gathering and impact analysis.

  • Develop and manage enterprise level business continuity (resiliency) plans through internal and external partners to include: annual risk assessment, standing contingency planning and C Suite level reporting on risk.

  • Serve as administrator of all published crisis and business continuity (resiliency) documents providing regular updates and cataloging

  • Build and manage crisis and business continuity (resiliency) training programs for all levels of the organization with a focus on standardization in response and scalability.

  • Serve as chief counsel to the Vice President of Global Security and Resiliency on all matters pertaining to crisis and resiliency. 

About You

  • A Bachelor's  Degree in intelligence studies, international relations, political science, criminology, area studies, or similar field is strongly preferred.

  • CBCP, CPP and/or PSP certifications preferred.

  • Minimum 4  years experience in a position as a crisis and/or business continuity manager with experience working across all levels of a global organization.

  • 2+ years of experience in advising senior management. 

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing  policies and procedures

  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to articulate strategies and solutions to all levels of leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and professionally influence partners and peers.

  • Will be customer service-centric.

  • Be an innovative,creative, curious and flexible security professional by nature.

  • Demonstrate a high-level of attention to detail.

  • Demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making.

  • Be able to multitask across multiple platforms, departments, time zones, and cultures when necessary.
