Description

Using the Phantom Security Automation & Orchestration platform, IT security operations and IR teams can be more agile, efficient and responsive. The Phantom platform gives them the right information needed to investigate and triage threats, and using our automation capabilities, initiate faster and more effective actions across their entire infrastructure to remediate, block, and monitor attacks.

The mission of this team to engage with our customers helping them become successful with Phantom and ensuring they become a passionate supporter in our community and advanced users of our solution. We collaborate with our customers’ security leadership, engineers, and operations teams, incident responders, and threat intel teams, as well as their security solution providers to help them leverage the capabilities Phantom and achieve success.

A very important aspect of the company’s focus is the education and training of IT Security Professionals and Partners and the Community, who want to develop the skills and capabilities to design, develop and manage Security Automation and Orchestration environments, using the Phantom platform. We are looking for the right person to join the Delivery group, who can develop and manage a training program for the Phantom platform. The role requires an individual who is passionate about teaching and mentoring IT security professionals, and who has the experience in developing robust and successful training curriculums. This is both a program management and hands-on content development role.


Responsibilities

  • The individual will develop a comprehensive security education program that provides IT security professionals with the knowledge they need to effectively develop, engineer, deploy, enhance and operate the Phantom platform. The role includes:
  • The individual must be a dynamic, proven trainer who is comfortable speaking before large groups of people.
  • They will develop, disseminate, and present the education and training materials that provides blended learning opportunities; Materials will include training plans, briefings, slides, interactive demos, online presentations and live labs, refresher training, and specialized training focused on the usage, enhancement and development of the security playbooks and apps.
  • They will be working with Engineering, Product Management and their Delivery team colleagues to ensure that the materials are up-to-date and provide the attendees with real-world based education
  • Develops and evaluates training objectives in coordination with customers
  • Determine revisions for course materials
  • Manage the planning and scheduling of training and exercise events and observation activities.
  • Assists in assessing training initiatives, identifying shortfalls, and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Develops, prepares, explains, briefs, and coordinates plans, schedules, and reports.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training to ensure training meets objectives and customer satisfaction.
  • Possesses strong writing, briefing, coaching, and leading skills.
  • SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in the Information Security (Cybersecurity or Information Assurance) field. Expertise in Information Security (Cybersecurity or Information Assurance) processes and industry best practices in providing thorough Information Security (Cybersecurity or Information Assurance) training. CISSP, CEH, CSSLP, GIAC certifications are preferred.
  • Development training (Python, Django). Minimum of 3 years of classroom instructor experience to include platform delivery of training. Proficient in technical writing for the development of curriculum manuals and training procedures.
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive leadership experience in different functionalities in the training department of a large enterprise.
  • Strong program management capabilities. Ability to prioritize and complete multiple objectives with little to no direct supervision.
  • Self-driven, motivated, strong problem solving and analysis skills, self-motivated, and able to work and communicate in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to adjust to a quickly changing and fast paced environment
  • Ability to research, investigate, compile information, and assess/evaluate situations effectively
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate
  • Knowledge of networking administration and linux systems administration.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
  • Ability to travel to deliver onsite training at conference and customer locations (anticipated travel 50%)
