Guardian Security Services is currently looking to hire Security Officers to work the afternoon shift for a client in the Lower East Side of Chicago.  Great starting wage ranging up to $15.50/hr!  Tremendous Opportunity for Growth!

    • Position Requirements/Preferences:
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. 
  • Possess a high school diploma or the equivalent and provide us with a copy. 
  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test
  • Be mature in demeanor, personality and attitude. 
  • Possess strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Have a stable work history. 
  • Maintain an impeccable image and adhere to our professional grooming standards.
  • No visible tattoo(s)which cannot be covered up with a short sleeve shirt and pants.
  • Possess strong customer service and public relation skills, and be able to interact well with people of diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • Must maintain a working telephone at all times in order for us to contact you. 
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation.  
  • Must have a valid Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) or willing to apply for one. 
  • Must have a 20-hour training certificate or complete within in 30 days of employment. 
  • Ability to deal with challenging situations while remaining calm and professional.
  • Ability to use a two-way radio.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

    • Position duties:
  • Working from a warehouse environment you will be monitoring employees, temporary workers, delivery drivers, and contractors entering in/out of the facility.
  • Foot patrol of the facility.
  • Counseling and mentoring Security Officers.
  • Consistently using excellent communication and customer service skills when dealing with client relations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
