The Vice President of Cybersecurity Operations & Engineering is a critical leadership role responsible for owning and executing the vision of our Cybersecurity Operations capabilities. The successful candidate will be an experienced security leader with a proven track record of success in leading large-scale cybersecurity operations and a deep understanding of the latest industry trends and technologies.

Essential Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of the Security Operations strategy, including threat intelligence, detection and response, detection engineering, cloud security operations, and vulnerability management.
  • Set a vision and roadmap for the development of Cybersecurity Operations & Engineering technical capabilities
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments to continuously improve the company's ability to defend against advanced threats including maintaining a mature Incident Response program and capability
  • Proactively champions new opportunities for automation, innovation, and technical excellence within the cybersecurity organization, bringing thought leadership and deep technical expertise to drive adoption
  • Oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive security tooling strategy, including tool consolidation and rationalization, and the measurement and management of tooling effectiveness
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring that security solutions and services provided by third-party vendors meet the organization's needs and requirements
  • Engage with key stakeholders to develop and grow relationships within the security, technology, and business organizations
  • Develop and publish technology standards for operating systems, database/middleware, network, and endpoint technologies
  • Drive performance against measurable functional, operational, and strategic priorities.

  • Experiences
  • Proven experience developing, leading, and managing Cybersecurity Operations & Engineering teams
  • In understanding of tools, techniques, tactics, and procedures used by advanced persistent threats
  • Proven experience in conducting incident response, incident management and mitigation of threats
  • In-depth knowledge of security concepts such as cyber-attacks and techniques, threat management, threat vectors, and risk management
  • Understanding of Cybersecurity Operations models and technologies (cloud, automation, orchestration, analytics, and risk-based approaches).
  • Strong understanding of cloud security concepts and experience with multi-cloud service providers
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Vendor /Contract Management - Ability to build effective relationships with third party providers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Ability to effectively manage budgets, resources, and schedules
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
