FITS is seeking a Senior Risk & Vulnerability Analyst to provide services on a contract supporting DHS CISA Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative (JCDC).


This is a full-time salaried position with compensation based on experience and overall strength of the candidate.


The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving and communications skills as well as strong background in risk and vulnerability analysis; knowledge of risk modeling and frameworks; and recommending risk mitigation strategies.


The Senior Risk & Vulnerability Analyst will perform among a talented and technically accomplished group of colleagues.  On this contract, our team will support the U.S. Government agency across the following activities:



  1. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of risk prioritization and analysis best practices used across the public and private sectors that can inform the program’s risk prioritization efforts.

  2. Develop standard risk analysis policies, standard operating procedures, and similar documents to ensure standardized approaches across the programs.

  3. Identify and collect requirements to support the development of roadmaps, strategies, or plans for analytic tools, software, and platforms.


Qualifications:



  • Clearance: Top Secret / SCI

  • Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited academic institution in a relevant field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ experience providing similar services in similar projects.

  • Preferred: Experience working in IT and cybersecurity environments in U.S. Government agencies or critical infrastructure entities.


Core Duties:



  • Support the development of risk analysis models, tools, and methodologies to enable risk prioritization.

  • Support the development of methodologies, policies, and procedures for assessing the risk reduction impact of the U.S. Government agency’s planning and operations.

  • Identify existing information and production efforts on cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and consequences.

  • Prepare recommendations to fill analytic gaps and support risk prioritization.

  • Provide data science expertise to support data integration effort.
