The Threat Protection Team’s mission is encoded in its name - we provide threat protection software-defined solutions for our users. Our team is passionate about solving complex system, network, software development, automation, and programming-related riddles. Our projects vary from the privacy of the user to malware research.

What You Will Do
  • Take a lead in designing how NordVPN Threat Protection can protect users from new vulnerabilities, attacks / campaigns;
  • Act as a source for expertise of various threat vectors and ways to protect NordVPN users;
  • Take a lead in measuring the efficacy of the solution. Act as a source for expertise of ways to build a solution that reaches maximum efficacy for Malicious URL capturing, Malicious Files capturing;
  • Act as a representative for Marketing to give opinion about news in cyber security field;
  • Suggest tools and processes to make malware researchers, data scientist job easier;
  • Bring a passion for meeting business needs with building technically innovative solutions and excel at shifting between the two - understanding how big-picture goals inform technical details, and vice-versa;
  • Bring in knowledge of various intelligence feeds, sources;
  • Play an active part in shaping Threat Protection product.

    • What We Expect
  • Experience in creating cyber security products;
  • Experience in working with a team that produces qualified intelligence fee;
  • Bonus: Experience with applying ML in threat protection;
  • Very good understanding of Threat Intelligence process, sources, ways of work and ect. Follow cyber security industry trends and news;
  • Ability to form and express opinion on latest threats, news and industry trends.
