One of the cornerstones of our business is helping our customers by providing intelligence services that fight back against online threats and reduce the risks associated with cyber-attacks. The RAID team at PhishLabs is looking for a skilled intelligence analyst with experience in researching the cyber threat landscape. The right individual should have a passion for understanding how and why things work, digging deeper to understand the inner workings of the cyber threat ecosystem, and developing new and innovative approaches to fight cybercrime.
Requirements:
-Experience with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources
-Demonstrated ability to discern patterns of complex threat actor behavior and communicate an understanding of current and evolving cyber trends
-Significant knowledge in open source intelligence (OSINT)/social media analysis
-Experience investigating phishing attacks, fraud, and other scams
-Experience tracking cyber threat actors and their TTPs
-Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
-Exceptional communication, written, and organizational skills
-Experience in the application of the intelligence life cycle
-Knowledge of the cyber kill chain and/or diamond model
-Ability to work independently and be highly self-motivated and directed
-Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Bonus Points:
-Experience with programming languages (Python, PHP, SQL)
-Knowledge of the development and analysis of malware
-Foreign language proficiency (especially Russian, Mandarin, and Arabic)-Provide subject matter expertise on cyber threats, attacks, and incidents of interests to PhishLabs and our customers as well as knowledge of threat actors, attack vectors, and exploitation techniques
-Conduct open source research to identify activity related to cyber threats, including distribution of malicious tools, sale of compromised data, and underground services
-Perform data analysis to identify notable trends in phishing tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
-Analyze phishing attacks and malicious artifacts to provide actionable intelligence to various stakeholders
-Deliver analytical reports to customers about the cyber threat landscape and how it affects them
-Provide oral briefings to customers about cyber threats, tactics, actors, etc.
-Deliver external-facing products that enhance the visibility of PhishLabs as a leader in the anti-phishing space (blog posts, presentations, etc.)
