Software Engineer – Java

Location – Remote

As a member of the NetWitness FirstWatch Threat Research and Intelligence Organization, you will be part of a highly experienced organization and respected authority on security threats and attack techniques.

As a Netwitness Software Engineer, you will:

• Develop Software using Java Technology Stack.

• Contribute to the Design and architecture of new or re-engineered software environments.

• Participate in all phases of the testing process, including unit testing, integration testing, and e2e testing.

• Identify and fix software defects/bugs

• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and compliance with standard.

Essential Requirements

• 2-7 years of Software development experience

• Hands-on in Java Programming, J2EE, Spring, Rest API, Data Structures.

• Hands-on in Relational/NoSQL databases

• Relevant experience in Java frameworks such as Spring Microservices, Spring-Boot, Junit, ...etc

• Must be hands on with Object Oriented concepts along with passion for design patterns and applicability.

• Experience on UI frameworks like Angular, Ember, React

• Ability to speak and write clearly in a variety of communication settings and styles.

• Excellent analysis and critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts or principles.

• Ability to work effectively as part of global team.

• Experience working in an agile environment.

• Ability to code/debug more complex programs using either written or verbal design specifications.

• Ability to achieve mastery of new tools and languages with training and on-the-job experience.
