Security is fundamental to everything we do at Fullscript.  We also believe that security does not have to undermine user experience or developer velocity.  As Director of Security you will be responsible for monitoring our existing controls, developing our security roadmap, leading the implementation of new initiatives and managing our talented team of security engineers.  

Our security team continues to grow in both size and capability.  As such, this role will allow you to have a large impact in a short period of time.  The right individual for this role will have their ideal security organization in their head - and we want to hear about it. 

What you'll do
  • Manage and grow our team of security engineers
  • Monitor and report on our existing security controls
  • Watch for new threats and work with engineering to develop mitigation strategies
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for incident response
  • Be involved in security investigations and recommended courses of action
  • Participate in deployment of security technologies and program enhancements
  • Iterate and improve our existing education programs on user awareness and security compliance
  • Connect organizational requirements with security goals

  • What you bring to the table
  • Experience leading a team responsible for the security of a publicly facing application
  • Knowledge of security controls in a dynamic cloud environment
  • Familiarity with a wide range of security technologies and techniques
  • Experience integrating security in a modern CI/CD environment
  • An understanding of various security frameworks (e.g. HIPAA, SOC2)
